Provincial Priory supports the Swift Appeal

It gives the Provincial Prior great pleasure to inform you all that at the recent Annual Malta Meeting held on 11th July 2019 at Gateshead, those present voted to accept a proposition for the Province to make the substantial donation of £3,970 (5,000 USD) to the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Swift Appeal. This follows a request for financial help due to the loss of substantial US funding.

As a token of appreciation for the donation, the Knights of this Province will have an engraved metal Swift hung from the 'Tree of Hope' in the Muristan Garden which will be engraved 'Donated from The Provincial Priory of Durham'. We will also receive a Swift sculpture which we will take around the Province to remind you of the contribution you have made to this worthy cause.

The Provincial Prior would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your fantastic support of our main charity where the money will be used wisely in the treatment of Jerusalem, Hebron and Gaza's most vulnerable population.
